This is about as big as they get in the Seven on the stretch I fish- netted this June at Mayfly time.

I have a few other local waters to fish, which are more prolific, but if you fancy being a member there are vacancies. Was this below the road?

there’s mile after mile of local becks, upper Derwent, Rye, Riccall and Hodder the Dove, Thornton beck, Costa beck, The Tees not too far away nor the Nidd, Wharfe and Swale.
It’s a short season though, but good Grayling fishing when Jack Frost comes calling.
We have a great chalk stream a bit further South too- Driffields West beck, I once netted 83 BT and 43 Grayling in a 3 hour session in the eighties on a hot June morning, all Wild fish- was brilliant back then, the large olive hatches were unbelievable.

Wow! Would love to of seen those days. The fishing down where I live is mainly stock stills.
So not really challenging as fishing in rivers near you.
I have adapted to fish carp chub anything in the medway.

The Sea fishing is good in the Thames estuary near you, been out of Brightlingsea before and had as many cod as we could get in the boot of the car!
