A poor reputation went before them from the late 1980s up to recently, so this comment is understandable. However, a couple of year ago I bought an Airflo Forge floating line to use with my heavy stillwater rod and I find it perfectly fit for purpose. Other anglers are also offering better feedback about current Airflo floating lines right now.
