Hello everyone
This is my first post
Have recently purchased a job lot of Hardy split cane rods at an auction. Most of them have the model name on them but I am trying to identify one where the markings are rubbed. It has some script on the bottom section but not clear what it says and also a serial number on the bottom.
The only part of the script I can make out which I assume is the model name has what looks like a T with a couple of letters missing and a second word which looks like Mora or Mara and then a couple of rubbed letters.
I attach some photos and any info given is greatly received

I think the other lads are right, looks like an early Hardy Marvel.
It looks like it needs some work, but a nice rod if it has no major issues.
Welcome to the forum.
