JW Young reels?

Can any JW Young experts let me know if any of the models are left hand wind or can be converted to (easily)?

The 1500 series reels are easily coverted. Just flip the two pawls. Same as you would in a Rimfly.

I concur with the above; I bought one of their 'Worcestershire Fly Reels' online and it was a doddle to switch the pawls over.

Thanks guys I'm actually after an older model such as the Beaudex converted, there's a guy in the US on the Bamboo forum who does it but is a bit backward coming forward on how it's done. I know there's a few reel engineers on here and hopefully one of those guys might know or have an idea!

With the spring and pawl check mechanisms the difference in resistance between wind in or out is so small that it is not reely!! an issue.
