Just messing about on these small Allcock hooks to see what I can or can't get away with, From left Killarney Pet (Courtney), Red Eye (Malone) & Saghoug (Sandeman). All tied at size #1.

Killarney Pet.

Tag - oval silver tinsel & red floss.
Tail - GP topping, Barred Wood Duck and GP tippets.
Butt - Ostrich herl.
Body - rear half yellow floss, front half orange floss.
Ribs - oval gold tinsel.
Hackle - Jay.
Throat - orange cock hackle.
Wings - GP tippets in strands, Bustard, GP tail, Barred Wood Duck, Goose dyed red, yellow & blue, Bronze Mallard.
Horns - blue & yellow Macaw.

Saghoug.

Tag - oval silver tinsel & yellow floss.
Tail - GP topping, Amherst Pheasant topping & Barred Wood Duck.
Butt - Ostrich herl.
Body - two turns yellow Seal's fur the rest black Seal's fur.
Ribs - broad flat silver.
Hackle - black cock hackle.
Throat - black cock hackle.
Wings - GP tippets in strands, Bustard, GP tail, Goose dyed red and blue & Bronze Mallard.
Sides - long Barred Wood Duck.
Horns - blue & yellow Macaw.

Red Eye.

Tag - crimson wool.
Tail - GP topping, GP tippets & blue Macaw.
Body - black floss.
Ribs - oval gold tinsel.
Hackle - claret cock hackle.
Throat - dark grey cock hackle.
Wings - GP tippets in strands, Bustard, GP tail, Goose dyed red & yellow, Bronze Mallard.
Horns - blue & yellow Macaw.
Head - Ostrich herl.

Thanks Sebastian I think the Killarney Pet and Red Eye are typically Irish and I've seen versions of both of these by Malone so say no more. The Saghoug I think is from Fraser Sandeman's 'By hook & by crook' if not then I think he also wrote 'Angling travels in Norway'. I agree the proportions are quite nice on these hooks and they are blind eyes so the eyes haven't been cut off like in some re-worked hooks.
