Not slow for me but when I clicked on cb's image link above I got this message;

Lewis Chessman, you do not have permission to access this page.
Impressed the site is back up so swiftly. Well done the techies!

Hmm, its quickened up a lot for me now - seems to be the first time I hit a section. Unless of course SKY broadband is being its usual **** self!

By the way you need an emoticon for S***, it will save everyone wearing out their * key.

The last two alert emails I've received for this thread have taken me to this:

No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator
Btw., I just added a pic directly from my hard drive to a new thread but had to resize it first with Picasa3 as it was enormous on the page at 3.6 Mbs. Not hard to do if you have editing software but if there's no resizing choices built into this new board we may see a lot of enormous pictures.
If there is and I've missed it, please say.

Hi cb - what exactly is being upgraded here? Is this a software upgrade or a server upgrade? Thanks!

Photos finally displaying at native size... Hurrah! :thumbs:

However, still have redirection issues when accessing the big photo galleries such as General Nature photos. :thumbsdown:

download ''EASY THUMBS''

just click on the original image and it instantly creates a duplicate copy at whatever default size you choose eg 800 x 600 for the web

The forum software. We shall be moving server again soon too - but not yet.

I am still working on the forum database (which is huge BTW) so it will be slow for a while - it is also rebuilding its search index so searches may not work properly for a while.

It'll take a day or so ..
