I've had bream out of a river on a red buzzer and bloodworm before 👍

Given the comments about how bream can often be "like a plastic bag" in the fight I have switched my attention to that pike! This is a really small river and I was very surprised to find one in this water.

Have no clue how to start. I will do some searching through the forum. My 5 weight rod will have to do (it wasn't the largest pike) plus, I assume, a steel trace and a good size streamer.

A surprise. I was after trout but the river was low. I wasn't delighted... In fact I was afraid he would bite me :) see attached.

I had a small perch the week before and that annoyed me more
So no tracer. 10lb line
