If you get stuck a soft hair bobble will do the job

Are they big enough for fly line spools Paul..?
I have some that comfortably sit round a salmon spool, trouble is I can't remember where I bought them or seen them again!
I resorted to buying some wide elastic which I had intended to stitch all neat and tidy into bands but I have a feeling an overhand knot may be the solution.

50 2cm wide velcro jobs for £3, cut the loop end off and lay 2 together for larger spools.

Thinner ones available for tippet spools.

I use hook n loop as plant ties

heres some 20mm wide

The cable tidy type has an almost undetectable hook surface and very thin fluff, not like the original velcro. Less prone to sticking to everything.

What's the stuff you use like?

Mines 5mm, used as plant ties and cable tidies with very short hooks and loops, I think its from aldi

England.
I mentioned these to you before Jimmy, they are 12” long by 1” wide.
From Workzone a pack of 12 was I think about £2.
Theyll cover the largest spools.
