Is there a brand & model of barbless hooks preferred for these style of flies ?

I prefer a more traditional straight eyed hook for these flies and the two below are the ones I use, not barbless but just crush the barb down and they are perfect!

I like the partridge spider hook but it's not barbless, I crush the barb before tying

It's hard to find straight eyed barbless hooks suitable for spiders so you crush the barbs on the hooks you like and imo the Partridge spider is the best for the job, been doing it for years without any issues.

Try the Kamasan B911
Medium wire and the shank may be a little short for some people. But a good hook.
They do a ptfe coated version too T911e.
