Aye it was a tough day, I had one grayling on the dry and dropped a decent trout, my friend had a few small ones on spiders.
Eden was very low and clear.

Yes it was. Tomorrow is another day. Lets see what happens but with no rain I can see it being a challenge again. Still better than being at work ;)

Off for my last trip of the season today. Hopefully cloud cover will help with the low water conditions.

well that’s the season over for me. West wind made it a cold day , but managed one and lost 2. River low and crystal clear. On a lighter side found a ewe that was stuck upside down on a shallow ditch. Pulled her out but no thank you!

It certainly was a cold day, we struggled my friend had two small trout on spiders then we both chased a pod of small grayling.
They were fast as lightening, and the odd one was caught on a #18 Fiddler.
I was glad to get home and have the central heating on.
Massive change from yesterday but at least it didn’t rain.

Struggled myself today. Had one serious knock which I missed and then nothing
