I wanted a cheap specimen holder, I had a csk. magnet and a ball bearing.
A search of my shed turned up a larger ball bearing and along with a
blob of blue tack to hold a 00-specimen pin seemed to show the idea
might be sound to show off photo specimens. I have ordered more csk. magnets
to adjust the height and hold an extension (aluminium) adjustable arm for the pin
It could also hold a black disc to display beautifully made trout flies :)

Mk.2, two bearing articulated specimen holder.
The brass cone is the cup from the base of an
oscillating clock and has a cork insert. I need a
longer black (magnetic) 4mm steel grubscrew
so I can make the flock covered disc attachment
easier. Next real problem in painting it matt black.

I will be making a lazy susan turn table to allow selection
of the best table top back ground position using a 2" or 3"
bearing.
