One of six, yesterday morning.
Beautiful bamboo rod with a nice swell!!! May I ask who the maker is?
The trout is amazing too, looks like an Icelandic trout, was it caught in the UK?
the maker was Tim Harris, "no longer making rods now"
the trout is from a Scottish river.

A couple from the weekend
That second fish is a stunner, great colour to it.
A rather unusual-looking brownie (for me, anyway)...
One on a dry fly from the Lake of Menteith on Wednesday. Obviously been a stocked fish - probably from 2018, if not before that, and it is getting a bit thin. Markings are not typical of Scottish fish - more like Irish fish with the 'lumps of coal' patterning, though obviously a lot depends on the fish farm it came from originally.
Have seen some browns like it before, great how the colour variation can differ from various parts of a river or loch, suppose its down to the habitat and camouflage from predators etc.
