Hi Guys after about 10 years of hard use I think its time to replace my float tube. What I need is the Superleggera version of float tubes!, one big pocket is fine ( left hand side please) one D loop for the landing net and thats about it, anything else just gives places for the line to tangle. Money isnt a major concern but quality is. The tube will be draged through brambles so it has to be rugged and will only be used in a couple of flooded sand pits for trout.
Who makes the best rugged tube now a days?

I have a Sparton float tube and yes it has its advantages. Saying that I fished in an Outcast Fish Cat 4 earlier this year and it was so different being slightly higher up and out of the water. Unless you are fishing regularly in windy conditions I recommend that Outcast tubes. They are easier to paddle and seem effortless to move.
