As previously mentioned on this forum. I attended the "The Role of Waterways in Wales" conference today. Hoping to see others representing angling in Wales. The only ones there represented the Taff & Usk.
The KEYNOTE speech by the minister J Griffiths indicated LEGISLATION on ACCESS to land & WATER was on its way. What this would entail I can only assume is that the paddlers will be on ALL rivers. He made reference that he enjoyed canoeing at an event held a couple of weeks ago.
Perhaps I have been wasting my time reporting on this forum (and others) because the response by you the angler has been abysmal and possibly you deserve what is coming.
July 22nd 2013 at the Royal Welsh Show.
J Griffiths AM/AC will present the codes of conduct for 1/ Angling. 2/ Canoeing etc 3/ Wild swimming. Hope WSTAA will be present, canoe Wales will be there. All can attend, if you wish to pay the price to enter the show on day 1.
