Fly number one caught my first ever Pike of maybe 5lbs.

That huge sparkler (fly number eight i think) got me number 2.

6 Pike to the boat that day all on Dougie's flies.

All the flies went back into the wallet that day as good as new (well nearly).

@ Alex

I have to say you get what you pay for in life... get a Turrell or a Dragon and put them up next to a Dougie and you'll see the difference... More to the point I've had 6 on one of Dougie's flies and it is as good as the day I first cast it...

If you want cheap flies I can sell you my duds... Dragons and Turrells... I wouldn't sell you my Dougie flies:D

Those flies look the business. Pike flies are incredibly expensive to tie. Especially when you consider that sparkler probably uses a whole hank of the material and takes a fair while to put together! (I've seen the step by step:eek:)

Excellent looking flies. What BS of line do you use as the weed guard?
Thanks for sharing.

SAB those flies look malnourished in comparison to Dougie's :D

Malnourished?!? I thought they were those free toys you used to get in Kinder eggs!!

Dougie, will definitely have a couple off you at the end of the month as I'm just starting out collecting my pike flies :D
