Over the past three days have been doing maintenance work over at Antermony Loch where the two swans have been casting flight feathers like nobodies business. Going by the amount of feathers they have cast they won't be able to fly anywhere. As I don't like to see things going to waste, kept some for my own use and left a pile in the oar shed for whoever wants them. Don't suppose I will find a use for them either for I am one of those guys that if I see any fly-tying material laying about have got to collect it. I am not into the dying of feathers, that is something I have never tried.
