Had an afternoon/evening at Temple Fishery, with the current warm and bright conditions the fishing was very challenging. Finally opted for sinking line and small nymph (a small black booby and hares ear with orange hot spot) but not a sniff.

Later changed to a floating line with buzzers (black with silver rib) as there were swarms of midges and gnats hatching off.

Stayed till about 10:00 hoping some fish may start moving but very little happened.

It's that time of year when the weather is great for the fisherman but no so for the fish.

Final score fish 1 angler nil.

Many thanks to Julian for his hospitality and I hope not to leave it so long before my next visit.
