larger residents stocking up before winter arrives.
I have been advised by the bailiffs that the average fish are 3lbs upwards and on the fry.
Zonkers near the weed beds are working, as is tubes fished up to 10 feet down for the larger Browns that are now showing.

Looking forward to the day out.

And a BBQ at lunchtime, heaven.

Well I thought it was very funny and you certainly lined yourself up for that one, it explains why you were taking mars bars so readily at the Airflo

I hear it's so tough, I'd be better trying to winkle a trout out a puddle! Oh and it's to be blowing a gale! GREAT!

Well the gales never arrived and there was reasonable cloud cover all day.:D

So congratulations go to .......... Phil Longstaff top angling and winner of the Tom Bilson comp.

7 fish for 18lbs +

I think all anglers caught on a difficult Pitsford with best fish in the 4 to 5 lbs range.

Will post full results later.
