If you like reading old angling books, I can highly recommend this.
Tackle and techniques of the day are thoroughly explained.

Upstream dry fly instead instead of "old fashioned" downstream, tied rod joints being superior to brass ferrules and of course, having a 'man' to carry your landing net and basket "will greatly increase your enjoyment of the day".
