I hope all you fathers have enjoyed (and still) your day. 🍺 is going down well.
Well my plans for next Sunday have been scuppered, covid again! Was hoping that it being an outdoor event, it may have gone ahead.

Just been out with the dogs, it’s that cold Sue wants the heating put back on!

On a more serious note I’ve hardly fished at all. The river normally at a height of about .4m has hardly risen above .16m for weeks, there’s hardly any water in it. The few times I’ve been tempted to fish it’s been blowing a Gale from the wrong direction and extremely bright and sunny.

Sciatica is still effecting Joan and me. I am not too bad but Joan is suffering. She will not ask for help.

Off to get my ears lowered. Hope I get a better cut than the last one.

Afternoon guys.
Grey and breezy again, still no rain. Fingers and everything crossed Earl. 🤞
Aldi shop done, taken my mother's down to her and did 2 jobs whilst there.
Paid a BIG bill.
I also need my ears lowering, will need to sharpen the sheep sheers first as I cleaned the lawn mower when last used. :D

We put the heating on for an hour or so this morning, the boss said she was feeling cold. 12 degrees out today, supposed to be summer!!

Take care Steve & Joan.

Just picked our granddaughter up from school will look after her until her mum gets home.

May get out in the morning.

New rod arrived today. Rod is gorgeous. Ups managed to break the rod tube though. I got a partial refund off the seller as the rod is too good. A pity but you don’t fish with the tube and I got it at 40% cheaper than new. The rod is like new.
