I remember when the supply of the Loch Leven boats' traditional metal scoops with a wooden handle were augmented with modern plastic ones in the same design... and they were purple! o_O Just wasn't right, so it wasn't. 🤪

Sneaky leak is a bad design.
Repurposing single use plastic milk bottles ought to be applauded, but somehow they don't quite make it.

It depends on the colour of your oars - If your oars are Oxford blue then the bailer should be Cambridge blue, and vice versa

What ever colour the gillie wants as the guest(s) should never see it as the boat will be already bailed and ready for his/ their arrival.

the best colour for bailers is what ever colour the one in the boat is, usually Milk bottle colour, easker1
