So,
I have all the paperwork, full of scores of fantstic stretches of trouting. Getting itchy feet, need to book a couple of days for next month, preferably better size river trout, will leave tributaries till later on.

Where to start?

I can also vouch for both Gromain and the B & B .

Also ring the Trust the day before and ask them for their opinion, they are very happy to tell you what is fishing well and what isn't in your chosen river type.

And when you decide to try the smaller streams, get yourself on the Clettre for some extreme mountain stream fishing, the fish are smaller but its a wonderful place to be.

Tight lines.

I know you might not want the tribs John, but I'd give serious thought tom the Irfon at Llangammarch Wells - nice mid size river fishing with plenty of good sized trout.

Fish the main river. See my report in the River Updates.

Sorry TM, your advice is spot on but I doubt that the Irfon could out do the main river, at the moment.
