X line fluorocarbon

I've used the Xline in 6lb and 8lb.
Its good value for its price. nice bit of stretch.
I particularly like the 6lb for flies under the bung, I get allot more takes with it.

I'm not convinced that X-Line is a true fluoro as true fluoro's don't stretch to the same degree. It also sinks at a slower rate than other fluoro's I've used.

I too was sceptical, as the price was much cheaper than most , but then frog hair fluoro also has a small bit of stretch, but not as much as xline.

I got some xline and burnt it with a lighter and it went black, apparently its the sign of pure fluorocarbon?
I'm still not fully convinced its 100% fluoro ,
Could it be fluoro coated monofilament?
