    Default Around Fort William

In June I will be at a hotel about two miles west of Fort William for a few days. I will have no private transport.
Are there any chances of a few hours trout fishing nearby?
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You could give this place a go:

Loch Lundavra ? Yorkshire Fly Fishing

Fished it about ten years ago, stuffed with suicidal little brownies, nothing massive but good fun.

Loads of lochs/rivers/streams all around fort william but not having a car is a problem, i would guess local buses will pass a few of the waters close to roads and will happily drop you off and pick you up again....or a taxi ? you don't have to go far to get to the nearest lochs.

Lovely part of scotland, go on google maps and type in fort william and you will see the vast amount of waters around it, there are plenty along the A830, A82 and A86 roads which are main bus routes.

Take as much midge repellent as you can carry
