I had a wade on the south side on a very still late evening at the end of August, with flies as recommended by OTFA (humungous on point with a red blob on the dropper, also a dry black and magenta muddler). Plenty of fish moving especially at dusk, but none I could reach or induce to take. Work to be done on casting distance. Also, very soft bottom and tough stemmed weed beds.
