Lough Conn - Boats
Hi all
We fish Lough Conn end of May every year and always get our boats from Gerry in Gillarroo Bay. Great service, never had any issues with the boats or motors.
However, this year we were thinking of having a day or two further north on the lough - around Bog Bay or Gortnorabbey Pier. Does anyone know if you can still get boats up that end of the lake? Some of the information contained on various websites appears to be a bit out of date.
Any suggestions welcome.
Cheers
Jono

I haven't been out at the northern end myself but I do know Ian Wise, Cloonamoyne Fishery, Enniscoe did do boats up around there but maybe not anymore. Gerry might put in a boat in for you further up the lake as he i know he does move boats about to other lakes in the area. Hope that helps.

Thanks Brackwansha.
I looked at the Cloonamoyne website but nothing posted for a few years and the email contact address does not work.

Not a problem. Enniscoe house has a website and link with contact details for fishing so you might be able to get him from that or maybe the guest house might be able to point you in the right direction for boat hire.

Forgot about Kellys at Cloghans. Not too far to go to the northern end or around Bog bay
