Default First trip with not so new Echo glass rod

I bought a 6ft9inch 3 wt Echo glass of here a week or two ago.. Well heres how I got on with it...Was out on the upper Derwent with it today .. Was out for 6 hours had 30+ all on the dry. love the rod perfect for these tight little streams.
Well chuffed with the rod definately one to keep...

Don't those echo rods bend well 😆.....you really feel everything through them...

It's a magical place and stuffed with fish , but very stealthy wading still required . That bigger fish really put a bend in the rod. After 5 hours fishing upstream and then an hour trek back down the valley I was completely knackered but very happy .
