Sorry lads, I couldn't resist it --- ''The Lugg and Arrow'' sounds like a pub built in memory of some poor beggar who suffered from the results of a badly aimed missile. Hope that wasn't the case. jadaTC

PS I sincerely hope you have had more consistent success since the start of the season than we've suffered here on the Eden. Although things have improved recently, the Eden and tribs are up again in level, due to the unsettled weather. Oh, for a calm day!! I can put up with rain, but the wind in the Eden valley this year has been a right pain. Upstream wind means northerly, hence cold conditions, but it helps the upstream fisher: while downstream wind is generally warmer, but has generally been too strong on too many days. Hope we all have a good May and June. Cheers.

Mayfly hatching well at the moment on the middle Arrow as is just about everything else.
Water has dropped to a good level with still a little colour to it.
Few fish seem to be rising until just before dark.

Good to see the rivers being used.
We are still here (although rarely using this forum) trying to do the best we can for our rivers.

A brilliant read and fantastic work by all concerned !
So looking forward to the leaves being back on the trees along the Arrow and getting the boots wet again at the magical Mowley beat ....
