Default River derwent

Well my first day on the river presented me with 2 lovely brownies at Shotley bridge both taken on gold head pheasant tails I'm completely hooked on the river now and I'm gunna sell my Stillwater set up and enjoy the peace of the riverside.

You must have been a few miles upstream of me yesterday!! was a beautiful day for opening day of trout season, river was looking good and fished well too...hope the season continues in this vein!

Indeed they do, I think they are 8 for the day if you fancy a look downstream at some point.

Just been lurking for a while I had a nice day yesterday up at Rowlands Gill,fish were on the Mayfield,great fun,report and prix to follow,

You been out lately...or anyone for that matter

Must be the quietest river in the north east,not that I'm complaining!

Was out on the 27th, fished from Alansford Picnic Center up to the Crags & back down, not far I know, but only had a few hours before the dog walkers landed.

Caught 12, everything from a minnow up to 3/4lb, enjoyable morning out, started at 5, & finished at 8-30am, just in time for breakfast.
