    Default North Yorkshire

Regular visitor the forum but Signed up to the forum just to ask a few questions about North Yorkshire and its trout fishing.

Heading down in May to fish Leighton Reservoir and staying in nearby Masham. Would appreciate any information on Leighton and the surrounding area because I am going down for 5 days and I don't really want to be fishing Leighton every day of my visit.

Willing to travel up to 40 Miles for trout fisheries in the area.

thanks in advance for any responses I get.

Tanfield Lodge and Stonebridge Lakes. Google will tell you what you need to know. For wilder water look at Scar House reservoir.

Thornton Steward Reservoir is in that area and is worth a visit.
Teesdale reservoirs such as Grassholme,Hury and the wild brown reservoirs of Selset,Balderhead and Higher up is Cow- Green.
Well worth a visit is Jubille Trout Fishery and Witton Castle lakes run by BAADAC .
fishingforanglers has up to date reports on fishing in the North /east and is very helpfull to the visiting angler.
