Default Partridge Master Series bamboo rods

Hi all, I just bought a Partridge Master Series Rapport bamboo rod and waiting for it to come. It looks super nice and is in a wooden box. I would be interested if anyone has any other rods from the Master Series and any experience with them and of course pictures you can share
Thank you

If it was made between '81 and '83 it is by Tom Moran and you have something very special. Pictures would be nice when you get it. Details like length, wrap colours type of reel seat etc. would be good.

I've learned something this morning - having heard about Tom at T&T I had, in my ignorance, thought he was an American. I am delighted to have corrected myself.

There is a renowned American rod maker called Tom Morgan. Sometimes that's a cause of confusion with the late Tom Moran.

I'd love to see pictures of your rod, too, adampodlaha. Hope you post some when it arrives.

I wonder if that's the source of my confusion?

Which one did the "Special" eponymous model in something like 8ft 4in 4 weight?

Hey, no worries, an easily made mistake.
In fact, on a Tom Moran Memorial forum thread, following his death, some idiot cropped up asking, ''Where can I get my Tom Morgan rod fixed now?"

That "is" should be "was". He passed last June.

Beside making very high end rods under his own name, he was a long-time owner of Winston.
Lewis Chessman likes this.

To clarify my Like, above, I don't like the fact Tom Morgan is dead!
I liked being informed, thanks.
