Hi all,

I am going to the Roseland Peninsula (Portscatho) in July - any suggestions for saltwater fly fishing around here in terms of locations or guides?

Thanks

Pednvadden Point, a short walk to the East. Fish low tide up for pollack: there are one or two very obvious gulleys. Mackerel and garfish possible too: and I've even seen a sea trout while snorkelling. Bass are scarce, but try the rocks nearest to the beach.Plenty of wrasse about in the gulleys, but you can go mad fishing for them. Chartreuse/white Clousers are a good general fly.
