I haven't got a pic but Bill Tidy had a cartoon of a crowd out side Lloyds looking at a notice board with notice of disasters , at the back is a polar bear, saying "any word of the Iceberg?" I do wish I had kept it, easker1

The scene a medieval melee, a huge knight has approached the fight and stands with a double handed sword nonchalantly over his shoulder, he says " Do you mind if I cut in" .....

Let's not forget one of the best cartoonists ever.

The detail in his cartoons was amazing, I love that little dog in the boat looking at that fish in the wake, then have a look at all those planks stacked in the warehouse (top right), and the double decker bus in the distance between the buildings. It must have taken him ages to draw cartoons like this.

Definitely one of the best, I used to get the Giles annual from my parents every Christmas, used to love going through it when the day quietened down.
We'd generally spend a few days over Christmas with my grandmother, she had an old Esquire cartoon compendium which was quite spicey, some amazingly talented cartoonists submitted work there back in the day.
