I fish rivers and streams in Scotland. Being retired, I probably have far too much time on my hands and I have turned into a bit of a statistics Geek.
Having just collated all the info from my fishing diary, I have fished for wild brownies on 65 occasions this year and have experienced 17 blanks.
Now, just to get a perspective on this, if I catch a 7'' trout, this has saved a blank!
So percentage wise, I have blanked on 26 per cent of my outings. Now I aint the best angler in the world, but it would be interesting to know other forum members 'blanking' rate.

p.s. Just meant as a bit of fun.
