Thank you again Noel. I tempted to buy just for the lucky dip of the "freebies"! On a minor point, where do you get your price of £59.62? As per my initial post, I'm looking for a #7. On their website today they are showing at £65.52 "headline price" plus another £10.92 for the #7/9 weight.

Thank you to those who replied. I was sorely tempted and prevaricated for ages on the AVID Pro, but in the end chickened out and went for a Hero reel to match the rod and to be able to get a useable warranty at not a lot more money. I did however order a "Gold" line and some backing using the Stock20 code which discounts the price by 15% which I wouldn't have known about if I hadn't asked the question in the first place!

PS Wonder what happened to "Pariso" and his brand new reel offer ?? He got banned before I could respond!
