Any Winston rod in good condition is a bargain at that price:thumbs:
R.L. Winston have a reputation for building high quality fishing rods. I don't know the rod in question, but I'm sure it was $500+ new.
Hope this helps, enjoy the rod, & welcome to the forum!

It's really up to you to decide whether or not it's a bargain. If you wouldn't have paid any more than $150, then no, it's not a bargain. If you were prepared to pay more to win the auction but still got it for $150, then I'd say it was a bargain.

It's a bit pointless asking now though, ain't it. ;)

I think you'll find that The XD (extra distance) LT rods were a series of rods built on IM6 blanks back in the mid 90s (particularly saltwater rods).

Whether it's a bargain at $150 depends upon how much you want to own one.
