Remove superglue from specs

Anybody out there know how to remove superglue smears from my specs without damaging the lenses.

If they're glass use small drops af acetone, but make sure it doesn't run onto plastic frames; also a razor blade might help if you're very careful. But if it's plastic, then a long or even several soaks in the warm soapy water or a trip to Specsavers for a reglaze.

Try using a different make with a better dispensing & application method before you start making the same mistakes again.

Many thanks for the replies. I will let you know the final results of your suggestions once I have had a go at removing the superglue.
This type of problem is an age thing....... I was tying some minkies when I put my hand up to wipe some excess dinner from my chin, missed and smeared some glue on the lense. It will come to you all one day.
