Hi all,
i have inherited an original Hardy 'Rollo" 9' #6 which was my Grandfathers.
It was built circa 1938, is still in pristine condition, and still casts a line.
My question, is I need to touch up some of the varnish, where it has worn on the cane - which varnish should I get, (and shouldn't) and should I just treat the 'bare' patches, rather than strip the whole thing ?
Ring whippings are all in great cond, so look like they need no remedial work.
Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers
